ProVision, the creator of CameraMatics, will be attending the 2018 CV Show where it will once again be showcasing it latest innovations. This year will see a major extension to its CameraMatics platform in the form of a new browser and app-based ‘Command Centre’, as well as two other apps to help with tracking fleet risk compliance and management. ProVision’s CameraMatics approach is a key driver in helping fleet operators manage the risk and compliance associated with running a commercial vehicle fleet.
ProVision has gone from strength to strength, having launched its initial offering in early 2016 to the Irish market. It has since expanded into the UK and international markets, and widened its portfolio to include specific products for vans and HGVs. These major additions to the CameraMatics platform integrate key fleet data points into a single accessible package that significantly reduces the overheads involved in defending and processing claims.
Taking place in Birmingham from 24 – 26 April 2018, the CV Show is a perfect opportunity for transport managers to learn more about ProVision’s latest CameraMatics innovations. Simon Murray (Sales & Marketing Director), Mervyn O’Callaghan (Managing Director) and Franco De Bonis (Chief Marketing Officer) will be on hand at stand 4H120.
ProVision’s unique offering ‘CameraMatics’ combines previously separate technologies into a single, solution. The system enables fleet risk management, accident prevention and fleet compliance to be managed through a single web-based interface using vehicle data. Fleet operators are provided with instant access to their fleet’s status, anytime, anywhere through ProVision’s online portal. Video capability ensures that incidents are recorded and footage can be obtained of any incidents that occur whilst a vehicle is in use.
ProVision’s cloud-based Command Centre is at the heart of its CameraMatics solution. It was designed by fleet managers for fleet managers to ensure that everything needed to manage fleet risk is only three clicks away. It is available on PC and Mac through a standard web browser and as an app for iPhone and Android for total flexibility and access wherever you are.
Fleet managers can track vehicles in both live and historic journey modes. The centre allows journeys to be played back so that speeding violations can be reviewed along with driving alerts.
Using ProVision’s CameraMatics Command Centre makes retrieving video footage from a vehicle easy. A quick search for the day and time of an incident will display all clips itemised by event. With another click, video can be downloaded or viewed.
Walkaround checks are a key factor in compliance reporting, but also crucial for reducing and optimising workshop and maintenance costs. Vehicle check data is stored alongside key trip and event data, making specific details of a vehicle check carried out prior to an incident easy to recall and codify. The app will be available for iPhone and Android.
ProVision’s Accident Reporting app allows the driver to log all critical information, such as taking photos and video of the scene, recording third-party witness and police information, and pinpointing the specific footage recorded by the in-vehicle cameras. This stores data securely in a way that the fleet manager can then access. The app will be available for iPhone and Android.

The leader in CameraMatics solutions for commercial fleets, ProVision delivers products that allow fleet managers to reduce fleet risk, increase driver safety and comply with growing governance and compliance regulations. The world of Fleet Management has changed to one where managing risk and meeting compliance needs presents a greater burden to fleets than logistics and efficiencies. Provision CameraMatics adds an additional, and currently missing, layer of data to fleet and driver management – that missing data is video, but ProVision goes beyond the traditional camera systems available today. ProVision has merged four key technologies: video input systems (cameras and scanners), smart processing systems, communications systems and unique algorithmic IP to deliver intelligent driver and fleet safety systems.
