They have tried on numerous occasions to break into the ‘grown-up’ market to various degrees of success, but are seeing greater brand awareness among 30+ parent demographic than ever before.
As such, their business is booming and with this increase in business and growing population, comes a greater demand on their key business period, bed-time on Christmas eve to Christmas morning.

The Need For Vehicle Cameras
In this modern world, Santa has so much to cope with while making his deliveries. Air traffic, Mobile phone masts, Satellite dishes on roofs, etc. all create hazard risks for the sleigh and the reindeer.
There is no room for failure at NPDL.
Speaking about the challenges, Zandro Krisnala, Head Elf of Logistics & Shipping said “There is no room for failure at NPDL. Our customers’ expectations must always be met, but that challenge has become ever harder and we have seen sleigh and reindeer risk increase exponentially in recent years. Something had to be done as any delay to the delivery schedule could mean thousands of children go without their gift on Christmas morning!”

The Solution
The solution being fitted to the sleigh includes an HD Quality forward-facing camera, a rear camera connected to a monitor fitted to the sleigh dash (to capture fast approaching air traffic). Additionally, 2 side cameras facing backwards gives a view of objects in blindspots and an in-sleigh camera allows Santa to keep an eye on the all-important gift-sack.
All this is connected to the ProVision Drive Smart DVR unit with GPS and Cloud Connectivity built-in.
