ProVision Vehicle Cameras has signed a new dealer partnership agreement with DT Trucks, continuing to strengthen its presence and base across the UK. DT Trucks will now be able to deliver the complete range of innovative CameraMatics products to its customers.
The partnership provides DT Trucks with access to special materials, pricing, training and tools, allowing them to fully specify, supply and fit ProVision’s risk management, safety and compliance solutions as part of its CameraMatics suite of products.
CameraMatics turns every Isuzu truck into a ‘Smart Truck’ that connects to ProVision’s cloud-connected portal. The portal is a unique and advanced web-based system, designed by fleet operators for fleet operators. As well as delivering tracking and vehicle driving data, it displays both live and historical HD footage – all in a single and simple interface. It gives fleet operators all the tools they need to manage and reduce their risk, mitigate insurance claims payouts and increase compliance.
To enable this functionality, hardware is installed in the Isuzu trucks, comprising a Smart DVR (from 64GB to 2TB storage), and can be connected to up to 9 HD quality cameras. This provides total flexibility for the type and placement of cameras to suit any of the vehicles across the range of Isuzu trucks, from the 3.5T N-Series through to the 13.5 T F-Series.
The flexibility of the configuration allows Isuzu fleet operators to meet every need, from accident and near-miss reporting to security and compliance.
We are delighted to welcome DT Trucks as the latest addition to the ProVision Dealer Network,” said Simon Murray, Co-Founder at ProVision. “The dealership’s vast experience in the commercial vehicle sector and dominant position in London and beyond, together with our technology leadership, will ensure a very successful relationship.”
About The Isuzu Dealership, DT Trucks
DT Trucks was founded by Derek Tansley and George Smith in 1995 as Eastley Commercials as the Isuzu brand was entering the UK market. The company grew in tandem with the manufacturer’s expansion of its product range, and today its team operates from two locations in Barking and Hoddesdon, providing vehicle sales, parts sales and servicing to truck fleet operators of all sizes from single vehicle companies to major nationwide brands.
Derek Tansley is Managing Director and Dealer Principal in the Barking branch, while George Smith is Sales Director and Dealer Principal in Hoddesdon. Commenting on their entry into the ProVision Dealer Network, George Smith said, “We see our mission here at DT Trucks to assist transport managers, fleet managers and business owners in choosing the right truck for their operations and the right body for their vehicle. Providing professional advice and installation of CameraMatics solutions is a key expansion to this mission.”
Explaining their decision to become a ProVision Dealer, George adds, “We were looking for a single system for one of our customers and, right from the initial engagement, we were impressed with how ProVision’s team handled the enquiry, supported us with information and, of course, the quality and functionality of their solution. After that engagement, we realised that this could be of benefit to our wider group of customers, so discussions began about the dealer programme.
The deciding factor for us was how ProVision structured their offering to make our lives as easy as possible. The online portal provides all the information we need, as well as an online quote and pricing builder. Hassle-free aftersales support means that they deal with any and all technical issues directly while we can concentrate on doing what we do best.”
DT Trucks provides vehicles based on standard sales, as well as a number of finance options, including hire purchase, lease purchase, operating lease and contract hire agreement. They also offer assistance with O Licence procedures and issues.
